I am a lifelong resident of Adams County, I live in the beautiful foot hills of the orchard country near Orrtanna and roam about the area as a freelance photographer/photojournalist in and around the Adams County .
My clients are varied and have included the Evening Sun of Hanover and the Community Dispatch Newpapers in MD., the Lutheran Seminary, Historic Gettysburg Adams County, the Adams County Arts Council, the Land Conservancy of Adams County, Strawberry Hill Nature Center as well as a host of individual projects. The most recent is a local artists project named "The Work'n Folks" which is a collective of artists working in various media in donated space in Historic Gettysburg, the space has since been sold but the group's members are still working in their various media and hope to come together with a creative way to display their art in the near future!
My vocation allows me to do the work I love and also allows me to pursue my artistic expression as well.
My goal is to bring images to the masses that speak to folks!
Sometimes it is an in your face image, sometimes heartfelt and quiet.
I love this quote from the reknown J.G. Holland he states:
"Artists are nearest God, into their hands he breathes his life, and from their hands it comes in fair, articulate forms to bless the world!"
I am not sure I am closer to God, but I know the gift of knowing when to pull the trigger {shutter} is I feel a gift from certainly the photo God, as explained by my mentor and teacher Ron Talbot.
All of my images are for sale if you have a question about purchasing any images please visit the online catalog or for a technical question email me or phone 717-642-6338.
